An SMS gate for people who have applied for international protection has been launched. Those who provide their phone number will receive text messages, and the messages will inform about, among other things:

  * confirmation of application registration and case number
* a sent notice of interview
* completion of evidence gathering.
* decision issued
* transfer of the case file to the Council for Refugees.
Messages are sent in Polish and one of the foreign languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian or French.
If you wish to receive SMS messages about the status of your case, provide your phone number, first name, last name, citizenship and date of birth to the e-mail address kontakt.dpu@udsc.gov.pl or by letter to the Office's address.
You can also submit your phone number at the application stage to the Border Guard.
